Why purchase the Facilitation guides?

Groups that have completed Community Resilience Core Training in the past often tell us that staff find great value in coming together to talk about the training content and build a deeper understanding together.

When you purchase the Facilitation guides, you’ll have everything you need to lead these conversations. The guides and facilitator notes give you a strong foundation to help your team reflect on ACEs and resilience, and explore how these ideas connect to your everyday work.

Frequently asked questions

The ACEs & Resilience Facilitation guides are a comprehensive resource that give staff leaders the tools they need to lead meaningful group learning and reflection with other learners who have completed the training. They are intended to help deepen learning and growth by holding opportunities for discussion and self-reflection on the training modules – like your own ACEs & Resilience book club.

The Facilitation guides are meant to be purchased alongside an online training or group training purchase, and the resource is only made available to existing users you select as Facilitators. You can also proceed with group purchasing and return to the site and purchase access the Facilitation guides at a later point in time.

The Facilitation Guide are provided in two formats:

  • Downloadable PDF document – includes detailed notes and guidance for facilitators.
  • Online slide decks – web-based presentations that correspond to each Core Training module and are designed to be used directly during facilitation. These slide decks are view-only and cannot be downloaded or printed. The slide decks are designed to promote engagement and deeper learning for each of the modules. Slides include interactive questions to help learners connect concepts and ideas to real-world situations.

Each facilitator needs to be registered with an account in our training site, and we ask that they complete the training prior to facilitating a group.

We can provide Facilitation guide access to as many people as you would like, as long as they are registered users in our training site. No, the price point does not change depending on the number of users who need access.
